Where am I?

Holy cow, has it been so long sine I last checked in? Forgive me. Part of my time has been spent in Dallas visiting my mom, some of it has actually been spent working (which I was doing up until 5 seconds ago) and a lot of my time has been spent kicking up my heels with good friends. . . good times!

We celebrated our nation's independence at the Frio River this year, where Sailor Jerry did his best to rob us all of our minds, our dignity, our clothes (?) and our minds. Did I already say that? No wonder it's been so long! A good time was had by all, although the poor kids who stayed in the houses near us may never know what hit 'em. Apparently they'd never seen grown-ups (most of our group was old enough to have borne them) behaving like children!

This past weekend was a blast - my friend and her husband brought their three darling children to our house for the weekend.



We really enjoyed their visit and look forward to another one.

Apparently my mind is elsewhere tonight - a lot of fun stuff has happened, I just don't have much to say. I'll be back when I'm more fun, ok?
